Professional Practice & Impact on Student Learning involves designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating instructional materials or activities (e.g., providing workshops to teachers). You must do something beyond your current job. Your report must include the following information:
Target Audience- Describe the characteristics of your target audience (e.g., age, gender, ethnicity, grade levels, jobs, interests, learning styles, skill levels, etc.).
Context- Describe the setting in which your instruction took place.
Instructional Design and Development- Design and develop an instructional material or activity for your target audience. Describe your design and development strategies. Also, provide links to your instructional materials.
Implementation- Describe your implementation process and tools used. Include a timeline.
Assessment- How did you measure your impact on student learning and performance? Describe your assessment strategies (e.g., pretest & posttest).
Impact on Student Learning- Analyze data and report the results. Use a table, graph, or chart.
Reflection and Self-Evaluation - Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of your instruction, and identify some areas for improvement.
