Number of Courses Per Semester

Students in the program typically take two classes per semester. Six hours is considered as full-time enrollment for graduate students for federal financial aid purposes. Taking more than two classes at a time is not recommended and is strongly discouraged. When students take more than two classes, they typicaly report that they are overwhelmed and overburdened.

Course Delivery

The program is 100% online. The current CMS (Course Management System) is Blackboard. Internally at the university, the system is called CourseDen.
Starting in the Spring 2013 semester, we will be using a new system called Desire2Learn.
